Youth Group News Jenny Schmitz, Hannah Seeger and Sheila Kramer took 18 of our youth to the cities. Mother nature didn't agree with our plan to go to Valley Fair so we took in the Mall of America instead. Thank you to all the youth who attended, you were awesome.
Bethany Lutheran Youth in grade 8-12 during the 17-18 school year are eligible to attend the ELCA Youth Gathering in Houston, Texas June 23, through July 2, 2018. If your child will be going you must let Jenny Schmitz or Hannah Seeger know by September 15, 2017.
Youth will be serving a brunch following worship on September 17th. Proceeds will go towards the youth trip to the National Lutheran Youth Gathering in Texas in 2018.
Girl Scouts are for girls in Kindergarten through 12th Grade
Membership fee is $15.00 a year. You can join at any time during the year

Members are cub scouts from the 1st to the 5th grade, 6th - 12th grade for boy scouts and committee members are interested adults and parents from the community
Membership dues are $30.00 for youth and $10.00 for adults annually
Annual events and fundraisers: Fundraisers: Fall popcorn sales. Annual events: Pinewood Derby, Rain Gutter Regatta, Blue and Gold Banquet, summer camps, and other council sponsored events
The purpose of this organization is to promote through cooperation with other agencies, the ability of youth to do things for themselves and others, and to teach youth patriotism, courage, self-reliance, and kindred virtues. In achieving this purpose, the emphasis is placed on the boy scouts educational program and its paths, promises and codes for character development, citizenship training, and mental and physical fitness.
