We have seven young people affirming their faith:Hailey Broden, Zaden Lallier, Kiera Largis, Olivia Larson, Gretta Philipp, Landon Sauve, and Blane Schmitz. Blake Arlt is from the Black River Lutheran parish and has attended our Wednesday evening classes. Blake has been invited to affirm his faith along with these classmates.
We will be having a banquet for our confirmands on April 15th at 6:00 pm. A supper of lasagna, salad, and dessert has been planned by our Deacons and will be served with the help of our 7th grade confirmation class. Coach and retired teacher Steve Philion will be our guest speaker following the meal. Steve will be sharing some of his own adventures in faith, as well as advice that has helped him to stay strong in faith.
“It shall be the policy of Bethany Lutheran to have at least two adult chaperones at all youth events pertaining to Bethany Lutheran Church.”
